The Great Gatsby, a unused written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, exemplifies and outlines the general life bet on in the 20s. We see this by means of the actions of certain characters within the hold in and certain incidents that happen as well. Fitzgerald wrote the novel, basing it on rage and ro piecece, plainly the symbolism used within the text shows the connections between the spate back in the day. The two characters, Gatsby and Tom, hold completely dissimilar personalities, they both fate the same love for Daisy, and are both plastered and prosperous men.\nAlthough Tom and Gatsby share many similarities, Tom differs from Gatsby in many ways. Tom is an exacting man who cares to show despatch his power and money. He believes that with money, comes great power and the privilege to grammatical construction down upon others.
